Deck Construction

From traditional timber to composite, tile, grass or bamboo, we can construct your deck with any finish and on any type of substructure.

Modern decks are no longer restricted to a timber finish. Rot, splinters, maintenance, termites etc. can be things of past. Choices in substructure and finishes now allow decks to be constructed just about anywhere. Tiles, artificial grass, bamboo, composites and timber can all be used. We are experienced in all these materials and can advise the best for your situation.

Composite

Composite decking has come a long way since it was introduced in the 80's. It always seemed like a good idea in theory. But the early versions left a lot to be desired.

Now it has improved to become the mot popular type of deck board. The quality range is considerable and there is a type to match any budget.

Tile Decks

Tile decks provide the convenience and lifespan of tiles on a deck substructure. Particularly good with low level decks, tiles provide a modern look with no rot or pest issues.

A tile deck has many advantages over other deck types, including the ability to lift the tiles for under deck access and use in a fire zone.

Timber Decks

Everyone loves the look and feel of timber. To get the best from it, it needs to be installed in the right area with plenty of airflow and be well maintained. If timber is your choice, we can construct it using whatever timber you desire.

Bamboo deck boards

Bamboo decks are the natural compromise between timber and composite. They have the look and feel of timber with the practicality and versatility of composite.

Artificial grass decks

Integrating a section of artificial grass into the deck softens the look and feel of the area. This is particularly good on rooftops and areas with pets.
